DiMo

- Born in 1987 and raised in Miami, Florida, USA, Anthony Di Mercurio aka Dj DiMo, grew up listening to the likes of Miami’s pop/rock scene. Listening to the old 93.1 electronica station in Miami, DiMo grew closer to the world of EDM. Given the chance to attend Ultra Music Festival 7, DiMo’s love for EDM grew and with it, a new Dj was born.
- Throughout his first years in college, DiMo began collecting any music he could that was along the lines of EDM. Attempting to convert his friends from Hip hop to Electronica, DiMo was not successful and lead astray only to work on his growing talent. Late 2007, DiMo bought his first piece of Equipment at a measly price of $500. and began teaching himself how to mix. Quickly DiMo caught on and impressed not only himself but many others.
- Quickly landing his first gig ever at an all ages event at Pawnshop, the House music scene quickly grew respectful of DiMo. He later landed many other gigs at local clubs including, The Cove, Allure, Metropolis, Discotekka, Nocturnal, Club X-IT, Autumn Music Festival and many others. A successful internet radio show developed there after on BPM.FM and landed a massive 24 episodes, hosting special guest mixes from the likes of, Willie Morales, QBA (parantula), Patric la Funk, Granite & Phunk, Alexander Orue, Austin Leeds, RPO, and many others. Currently, DiMo is working in the Studio collectively along side fellow dj and friend, Dj RC. He is affiliated with Department of Dance but not signed, however should land a few singles in the next couple months.
